Slingink Competitions

There is still plenty of time to enter our current competitions.

Slingink Shorts closes 31st May.

The Slingink Prize closes 31st July (Free entry to under 16s).

These are both open competitions – no need to be a member – let all of your writerly friends know.

Frantic Fiction 26th April

The prompt is released here, on the What’s New blogroll at 4pm Monday. Members then have until 11.59pm Wednesday to post their completed story to the relevant thread in the forum (releasing prompt a little late today – sorry forgot).

From midnight Thursday all board members can then comment on the entries – if 2 or more entries are added a poll will be created for voting.

If members want to remain anonymous please PM your entry to kirstyes.

The prompt this week is: write a story with the theme: Forgotten Memories.

We are after stories no longer than 140 words with a one word title. Competition this year judged by Hywela Lyn ( you can find her biography and link to her website on the Slingink Shorts page).

Slingink Shorts 2010 – competition deadline extended

To provide more of you with an opportunity to be included in the competition anthology we have made the decision to extend the deadline for 2 months until 31st May 2010.

Just a reminder that as well as monetary rewards the winner gets the anthology named after their winning story.
